Google Favors Mobile Site – Changes Set to Happen on Tuesday April 21st

Mobile Friendly” is the phrase that you now see in the result pages of Google searches done on your smartphone. Due to the rise and dominance of mobile first options when people are searching online, starting April 21st Google will favor mobile sites by given them ranking priority in the search results. This means that if your site is now displaying for a search query on mobile and it is not mobile ready, it is likely that you will lose placement once the change happens. Imagine going from page 1 to 1,000.

Did you know that 80% of internet users own smartphones? The most popular devices used to search the internet is PC/Laptop 91%, Smartphones, 80%, Tablets 47% and gaming consoles 37%. When IOS ( iPhone ) and Android users access their phones 32% of the time is it for games, 18% Facebook, 20% is browsing the internet.

There is no question about are people using the internet, no the conversation has change to how are they accessing the internet. Mobile seems to growing at a rapid pace.
